Our team

Prof. Ivan Ivanović is a graduate traffic engineer with over 15 years of professional experience in the field of traffic engineering and transportation planning.

Recognized for his contributions to the field, he received an award from the Serbian Chamber of Commerce for his PhD dissertation. He is a co-author of two fundamental books in the specialized scientific field of Transportation Planning and Traffic Infrastructure which are used as course material at the Belgrade University. He is a member of the program committee of several conferences in the area of traffic engineering and a member of editorial boards for several scientific and professional journals.

In addition to his academic role, he has extensive experience as a team leader and a member of author teams, working on projects and studies of strategic importance at the national level and across the Western Balkans countries. He is distinguished by high level of knowledge and expertise in transportation planning. In the era of new concepts of transportation planning he has gained significant experience through years of collaboration with the World Bank and GIZ.

He holds a professional license as a responsible designer of traffic and traffic signalization and a professional license for urban planning in the field of traffic engineering.

He is a member of the Executive Board of the Engineering Chamber of Serbia.

He is employed at the “Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering – University of Belgrade” in the Department of Transportation Planning and Traffic management.
