Prof. Dragana Petrović is a graduate traffic engineer with 14 years of professional experience in the field of transport planning and traffic engineering.
She is the co-author of two fundamental books in the specialized scientific field of Transportation Planning and Traffic Infrastructure which are used at the University of Belgrade. She is a member of the program and organizational committee for the Conference on Traffic Engineering Techniques (TESi) and serves on the program committees of several relevant professional journals.
In addition to her academic achievements and publications in international journals and conferences, she is part of the author team for numerous traffic studies and strategically important projects. Her areas of expertise include macroscopic traffic modeling, the impact of weather conditions on traffic demand characteristics, gender differences in transport demand, and sustainable traffic planning and transport infrastructure planning.
She is a member of the Serbian Chamber of Engineers and holds a professional license as a responsible designer for traffic and traffic signalization.
She is employed at the “Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering – University of Belgrade” in the Department of Transportation planning and Traffic management.
