Transportation systems are dynamic and influenced by numerous interdependent factors, making thoughtful planning essential for effective and efficient development.
The Association will advocate that the recognition and importance of traffic engineers' roles in the sustainable development of society is clearly recognized and properly valued.
The knowledge and experience of the Association's members should be invaluable asset in development of transportation projects and studies of various levels and scopes, as well as in conducting analyses of diverse impacts on traffic system. By following current European and global legislation, regulation and best practices, the Association will focus on adapting relevant documentation to local conditions.
The Association will focus on modern concepts of transportation planning which are oriented towards sustainable development and sustainable mobility.
The Association's activities will focus on the continuous improvement, development, and exchange of experiences among traffic engineers working in transportation planning and related fields. Investing in professional resources is essential for achieving better results. A particular focus area for the Association will be enhancing the capacities and capabilities of local governments in the area of transportation planning and others.
In addition to working with the government entities, the Association will prioritize establishing partnerships with organizations from the region, Europe, and beyond.
