Prof. dr Vladimir Đorić is a professor in the Department of Transportation Planning and Traffic management at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade. His primary areas of interest include transportation planning, traffic modeling, and the environmental impacts of traffic. Over the past 20 years, he has contributed as a member of authoring teams or as a project leader in more than 30 traffic studies and urban transportation planning projects.
In the last five years, his professional focus has been on promoting sustainable urban mobility planning and enhancing the capacity of traffic engineers and the traffic profession in Serbia. In this context, he has authored two books on transportation planning, designed for both students and professionals in traffic and related fields.
He maintains connections with experts and researchers in traffic engineering as a member of the program committees for various national and regional scientific and professional conferences, including the TESi Conference on Traffic Engineering Techniques, Towards a Humane City, ZIRP – Science and Development of Transport, and the Conference on Sustainable Mobility (CsuM).
